Joaquina, the Venezuelan singer-songwriter who is leading the Latin pop scene, made a stunning appearance as the opening act for Fonseca's Tour at the Movistar Arena in Bogota, Colombia, this past weekend.
During the Colombia leg of Fonseca's tour, Joaquina mesmerized the audience with her most popular songs, including "Rabia," "Freno," and her latest track, "Los Mejores Años," among others. As Joaquina took the stage to deliver her biggest hits, she had the special opportunity to perform "2005" alongside Fonseca, a song originally recorded by Fonseca and fellow Universal Music Latino artists Greeicy and Cali y El Dandee. The collaboration between Fonseca and Joaquina was seamless, with Fonseca extending a personal invitation to the talented artist. Fonseca's admiration for Joaquina and her inclusion in the tour is just one example of the impact she is making as she builds her international reputation.
Joaquina is a trend-setting artist with viral hits, paving the way for a new wave of singer-songwriters. She recently had the honor of performing in front of the King and Queen of Spain as part of the AmplificArte program, which showcases emerging talent to the next generation of Spanish students. Although signed to Universal Music Latino, Joaquina is among a select few artists handpicked by GRAMMY Award-winning producer Julio Reyes Copello to participate in a prestigious academic program in collaboration with Abbey Road Institute called The Art House project. Through this program, she continues to refine her creativity in music, songwriting, and performance.
To date, Joaquina has released four singles that are all part of her highly anticipated debut EP, "Los Mejores Años," set to release on May 18th, 2023. Don't miss out on one of Joaquina's biggest releases as she unveils her first EP, and catch her performances throughout the rest of Fonseca's tour in Colombia.
