The favored annual meeting place for the international art world, Art Basel Miami Beach, draws celebrities, cultural icons as well as art lovers from all over the globe to its world-famous and prestigious galleries and artists. The debut of the Swiss-based Art Basel’s North American outpost on Miami Beach, in December of 2002, elevated the Magic City’s status from an international playground to a global cultural destination –and playground.

From December 4-8, the Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC) will host the 22nd edition of the premier art show of the Americas, with UBS, the Swiss-based multinational investment bank and financial services company, has its Global Lead Partner. The Official Culinary Partner of Art Basel Miami Beach, Chef’s Table, the Netflix food documentary series, will host an exclusive series of dinners and evening pop-ups for Art Basel VIPs by a celebrated Chef’s Table chef.

Anyone who’s looking for a break between art shows should head to Issabella’s , a serene oasis for a Rosé-inspired Lunch Special with pours of Château Sainte Marguerite rosés, or an Evening of Elegance, a stylish dinner with Perrier-Jouët Champagne specials.

The success of the international art show in Miami Beach spurred an explosion of Art Basel –centered pop-up exhibitions, parties and cultural events that became known as Miami Art Week.
