Chencho Corleone's "Un Cigarrillo" has reached #1 on the general radio chart in Mexico. The song serves as the debut single from his upcoming debut album. Since its release, "Un Cigarrillo" has garnered immense global acclaim, accumulating millions of streams on digital platforms, while its official music video has been viewed over 19 million times on YouTube. Directed by Jessy Terrero, the video portrays the constant fights of a couple caused by jealousy, ultimately leading the artist in the video to leave everything behind. Shot in Los Angeles, this video is the first installment of a three-part series that gives us a glimpse into Chencho Corleone's future as a solo artist after leaving it all behind in this initial chapter.
The video features elements that provide continuity to the story, including a house with a studio, the iconic Route 66, and the Ford GT 40 car, considered one of the most legendary vehicles of the American brand, thanks to its consecutive victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (1968-1969).
Throughout his career, Chencho Corleone has been part of major hits such as "Me Porto Bonito" with Bad Bunny and "Desesperados" with Rauw Alejandro. He is currently putting the finishing touches on his highly anticipated solo debut album, which he is releasing under Sony Music.
Recently, Corleone received three nominations at the 2023 Premios Juventud and is gearing up to captivate viewers with his performance on Thursday, July 20, live from Puerto Rico.
