Wiplash, the Latin Grammy® nominated band, has released their second studio album "Narvarte" through Nakama Entertainment, Rebeleon Entertainment, and Virgin Music US Latin. The album comprises 12 tracks, including 4 unreleased ones, with a collaboration with Adriel Favela featured in one of the first singles. Throughout their career, Wiplash has experimented with different sounds and musical genres while staying true to their creativity. "Narvarte" showcases their diversity in music and authenticity, thanks to the contributions of great collaborators, such as Sebastian Krys, José Madero, Flip Tamez (Jumbo), and Vago Galindo.
The album's name is taken from the neighborhood where the band lived when they first arrived in Mexico City. The songs released so far have been well-received by critics and the public, along with the 4 unpublished ones. "Prometimos" is the first rock ballad of the band and accompanies the album's release, following other successful singles such as “Para Siempre”, “Aprendiendo A Amar” Ft. Adriel Favela, “Señales”L, “Recuerdos Desechables”, “Traidora”, and “Adictos”. Wiplash has doubled their audience in less than six months this year, showing their immense popularity.
Wiplash is quickly becoming one of the most promising new acts in the Latin American rock scene. They are known for creating original and thought-provoking songs that set new trends in both music and fashion, bringing rock music back into the spotlight in the Latin music market. The band is also set to embark on the "Para Siempre Tour," visiting major cities in Mexico and playing for the first time at the "Ruido Fest" after their recent participation in LAMC 2023.
The band's remarkable ability to create innovative and avant-garde music is driving their unstoppable momentum, like a steam engine, which continues to build with every song and album release. They are set to exceed expectations and continue to captivate the public with their sound.
