Colombian pop-urban singer and songwriter Teo unveils his latest single, "EGO," a heartfelt open letter to a former love that delves into his deep emotions. Despite a year having passed since their separation, Teo's love for her remains unwavering. However, their unresolved situation is plagued by the stubbornness of their egos.

While Teo doesn't explicitly confirm that "EGO" is based on a personal experience, he emphasizes his love for storytelling.

“Sometimes I do tell my own stories," the artist behind "EGO" explains. "Nevertheless, these stories are always heartfelt. In this particular instance, the egos of the two protagonists loom large, preventing them from initiating the necessary steps towards reconciliation."

In terms of achievements, one might expect Teo to possess a considerable "EGO" given his ongoing success and remarkable accomplishments. Recently, he earned a nomination in the "Musical Promise" category at the HEAT Latin Music Awards, just a month after releasing his single "EN ALTA." The track has garnered an impressive 370 thousand streams and continues to climb the popularity charts, securing the #17 position on Billboard's Latin Pop Airplay chart.

Teo, who embarked on his solo career after being part of the musical duo TEO & JAY in 2020, has released five singles over the past year: "Chocolatico," "Neptuno," "Thai," "En Alta," and now "Ego."
