Diego Torres Drops New Single “Amuleto” – A Tribute to Life’s Lucky Charms

On October 3, the Argentine singer Diego Torres released his latest single, "Amuleto," accompanied by a music video. This new track pays homage to the people and moments in our lives that act as lucky charms, guiding us along our journey.

What “Amuleto” Represents

According to Torres, "'Amuleto' is everything. It is what accompanies you at every moment. It can also be those people whose company helps us through life." The song evokes a sense of nostalgia, wrapped in a warm, sunny pop sound. Its arrangement features a blend of classical and electric guitars, backed by vibrant drum beats.

Crafting the Melody

"Amuleto" is the result of a collaborative effort, co-written by Diego Torres alongside Carlos Santander, Juan Manuel Frías "Brasa," and Samantha Cámara. The accompanying music video, filmed in Miami, was directed by Arturo Manuitt and produced by Dubraska Arias Requena.

A Year of Success

This new single arrives during an already stellar year for Torres, who recently released his studio album, "Mejor Que Ayer." To follow up on the album’s success, Torres is embarking on an international tour that will take him to Spain, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, and Uruguay. The tour kicks off on October 11 in Madrid, Spain, and will conclude on December 6 in Montevideo, Uruguay. Tickets are currently available for purchase.

Upcoming Performances

In addition to his tour, Diego Torres is set to perform at the Viva Peru BBVA 2024 concert on December 14 at the National Stadium in Lima. Other artists participating in this event include Carlos Vives, Fonseca, and Bacilos.

Celebrating an Iconic Career

Earlier this year, in May, Torres marked the 20th anniversary of his MTV Unplugged album, a milestone in his career. To commemorate this, he released music videos for each song from the iconic recording on his YouTube channel.

A Legacy in Latin Music

With a career spanning over 30 years, Diego Torres remains a revered figure in Latin music. Since his debut album in 1992, he has released numerous hits, selling over 20 million records worldwide and earning multiple accolades, including two Latin GRAMMY® awards and several Billboard Latin Music Awards.
