MOTIFF Breaks Ground with "SALSA DE AHORA," Setting the Stage for Next-Gen Salsa Music

In the heart of the tropical music scene, producer extraordinaire MOTIFF has embarked on a mission to amplify the voices of the new generation of salseros. With a vision to rejuvenate the salsa genre and foster collaborations among its youngest proponents, MOTIFF unveils his latest single, "SALSA DE AHORA" (Salsa of Now), featuring the talents of Luis Figueroa, Jonathan Moly, Nesty, Ronald Borjas, and Jimmy Rodríguez.

"Salsa de Ahora" emerges from a deep introspective conversation with Arbise, MOTIFF's legal name. It was during this candid dialogue that MOTIFF realized a prevailing sentiment among those around him – that salsa was losing its allure. His frustration served as a catalyst for a renewed commitment to honor the genre's pioneers and make a resounding statement: Salsa will never fade, as it courses through the veins of Latin culture.

"Salsa De Ahora" is not merely a track; it's an experience designed to be felt, danced to, and savored. It is now available on all major digital platforms, ready to enchant music lovers far and wide.

For MOTIFF, tropical music, especially salsa, has always been the canvas for his artistic expression. He attributes his greatest musical influences to legendary figures like Hector Lavoe, La Fania, Pete “Conde” Rodríguez, Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, and Oscar De León, among others. From a young age, MOTIFF was captivated by the rich and intricate sounds of salsa, igniting his lifelong dream of having his own orchestra.

In the tradition of iconic salsa orchestras like La Billos Caracas Boy, La Dimension Latina, and Roena y su Apollo Sound, MOTIFF's musical vision comes to life through "Los XI del XXI," his orchestra. Years of meticulous preparation have gone into this endeavor, driven by MOTIFF's profound sense of responsibility to preserve the genre's essence.

"Salsa means party, culture, family, friends, a good shot of rum at Christmas; salsa is joy, life, legacy, history; salsa is dance, and the beat of life." – MOTIFF

"Salsa de Ahora" marks MOTIFF's inaugural release following his exclusive record deal with Magnus Music. This significant partnership blossomed after years of fruitful collaboration between the artist/producer and Magnus Media, home to industry giants like Marc Anthony and Gente De Zona. Among their collaborative achievements is the album "Pa'lla Voy," in which MOTIFF played a pivotal role as an associate producer.

As MOTIFF's "SALSA DE AHORA" takes center stage, it promises to not only redefine the salsa genre but also reignite the passion for this vibrant musical tradition among a new generation of listeners. With its fusion of classic influences and contemporary voices, the track embodies the spirit of a timeless genre that continues to evolve while staying true to its roots.
