The nominees for the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards will be revealed on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, by SAG Award nominee Joey King and Golden Globe-nominated actor Cooper Koch. The highly anticipated announcement will be streamed live on Netflix’s YouTube channel at 10:30 a.m. ET / 7:30 a.m. PT.
The event will open with SAG Awards Committee members Jason George and Elizabeth McLaughlin announcing the nominees for Outstanding Action Performances in a Stunt Ensemble. SAG-AFTRA President Fran Drescher will then officially commence the live broadcast, setting the stage for King and Koch to unveil the remaining categories.
King, known for her performances in We Were the Lucky Ones, A Family Affair, and Bullet Train, was a 2020 SAG Award nominee for her portrayal of Gypsy Rose Blanchard in Hulu’s The Act. Koch, who starred as Erik Menendez in Netflix’s Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, also earned acclaim as a Golden Globe nominee for his role in the series.
The 31st SAG Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, February 23, 2025, streaming live on Netflix at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles. Kristen Bell, widely recognized for her roles in television and film, will host the event, while the iconic Jane Fonda will receive the Life Achievement Award, SAG-AFTRA’s highest honor, for her illustrious career and tireless activism.
