C. Tangana is celebrating the fifth anniversary of his album "Avida Dollars", which has become a modern classic of Spanish music. The album was a turning point in his career and Spanish rap in general, and is now being reissued in digital format and 12-inch vinyl. The reissue also includes an unreleased surprise, his new single "Estrecho / Alvarado" featuring pablopablo.

The album "Avida Dollars" was created in 2018, bringing together some of the biggest Spanish producers of the moment with international references to create a sonic framework where C. Tangana showcased his versatility. The result was a collection of songs that seem to be timeless, with iconic singles such as "Llorando en la Limo" and "Cuando me miras", both of which have achieved certifications in multiple countries.

The new track “Estrecho / Alvarado” produced by pablopablo, is the icing on the cake of this reissue. The title of the single refers to the area in Madrid where Pucho used to live when he recorded his first songs. The song is a melancholic look into the past, reminding us of the long road we have traveled together from the days he was Crema to becoming El Madrileño.

In an age of hectic immediacy and short-lived hypes, C. Tangana allows himself to stop and look back to celebrate a one-off project, while keeping an eye on the future through a new single that reminds us he is still one of the best Spanish rappers of his generation. Following the global success of El Madrileño, C. Tangana’s sold-out tour through Latin America and Mexico was the perfect culmination to the best year of his career to date.
