Puerto Rican singer-songwriter GALE, known for her signature Latin pop sound, has released a new track called “Nuestra Canción,” produced by DallasK, showcasing her electric beats and relatable lyrics. The song's music video, directed by TeoGraph, features Gale in an edgy angel persona, sharing her emotions with the energy of dancing and lost in the moment. “Nuestra Canción” is inspired by the singer's past relationships and the emotions that come with a song reminding you of an ex.

She tells Hypebae in the editorial premiere, “I love this music video. It’s very artistic, metaphoric, colorful yet dark, with beautiful outfits and I also have another amazing girl gang. It’s directed by the great TeoGraph, who also directed the music videos for my songs ‘Inmadura’, ‘Problemas’ and ‘D PIC’. In terms of the look and feel of this video, I was inspired by the 1996 movie Romeo + Juliet, and by the Madonna era in ‘Like a Prayer’.”

The song is GALE's first release of the new year and follows a year of success for her, including her solo artist debut and her songwriting contributions to chart-topping tracks. Billboard and Rolling Stone named her as one of the top Latin acts set to make it big in 2023, and she received a first-time Latin Grammys nomination for her penmanship on Christina Aguilera's "AGUILERA" album.
