Latin Plug is an entertainment industry connection platform made by Latinos and for Latinos,. It originates from New York City in 2017 and was created by the Colombian Carlos Mauricio Vega. Vega built it based on his experience, he wanted to create a movement where the Latino entertainment community came together to support each other. Its purpose is to open the doors to Latinos who are starting or want to continue educating themselves and create different types of connections in the world of entertainment. This movement already has offices in different countries such as the United States, Colombia, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Argentina.

This year Latin Plug week took place in new York City with two days of expert panels and one evening of red carpe + award show. We were able to attend some awesome panels such as "Beyond acting", "The power of the Latin woman", "A true Influencer ", "Music without limits", "The essence of public relations and management", among many others . Latin plug gave us speakers from each category of the industry such as Alex Quin, El Mindo, Anderson Ballesteros, Mauricio Londoño, La Segura, Guillermo Mordan , just to name a few.

Latin Plug not only gave us the opportunity to meet, participate and empower ourselves as Latinos, but it has also given us the possibility of being on the screens of Times Square. These are screens we know are globally recognized and respected. Latin Plug features creators and collaborators that deserve to be highlighted for their talent, effort and passion. With this they manage to have the visibility of thousands of people who visit Times Square daily from different parts of the world.

‍The Latin Plug Awards that took place this year at the United Palace in New York City were attended by celebrities such as Rakim & Ken-Y, Gregorio Pernia , Majida Issa , Dj Cornetto  , El Mindo , Paloma Almonte, Hony Estrella , among others. The awards had 9 categories such as Revelation Artist of the Year, Content Creator of the Year, Artistic Manager of the Year, Communicator of the Year, and Actress of the year. The event was hosted by Felipe Saruma & Andrea Valdiri and had performers like Messiah , Daniel Calderón, Pipe Calderón and La Perversa.
