Valeria Conde had an outstanding year in 2023. As one of the youngest Venezuelan talents to win an Emmy, this Caracas-born journalist and producer has achieved significant milestones in the Latin entertainment industry.

Early Career and Education

At 26 years old, Valeria studied part of her Social Communication and Journalism degree in the United States. She became a key figure at Univision, joining the network as one of the youngest journalists and producers on the popular morning show, Despierta América. She also collaborated with Univision’s news program and special segment, Univisionarios.

Emmy Award Recognition

Valeria's hard work was recognized with an Emmy Award for her role as an associate producer in the news segment of Despierta América. She recalls, “I won the Emmy as an associate producer thanks to my role in the news area of Despierta América. In September 2023, a good friend from Univision shared the news with me.”

Expanding Horizons in the Music Industry

The Emmy win was a significant personal achievement that allowed Valeria to explore new professional territories. Since 2023, she has made a notable entry into the music industry, working as a product manager at WK Records, the label owned by Walter Kolm. Here, she manages the projects of rising Latin artist Ryan Castro and his producer, SOG, who has worked with artists like Peso Pluma, Blessd, Jhayco, Feid, Bryant Myers, and Farruko.

Managing Ryan Castro’s Career

Known as “El Cantante del Ghetto,” Ryan Castro is one of the top 50 most-listened-to Latin artists globally, with over 4 billion digital streams. Valeria plays a key role in managing his career, contributing to her growing list of successes.
