Tierra Adentro, the acclaimed Paraguayan band, is thrilled to announce the release of their new album, "Ayvu." This captivating album is a fusion of Latin American sounds and the Guarani language, aiming to honor and reinvigorate our cultural roots. "Ayvu" features collaborations with renowned international talents who joined forces to create this unique work, marking their first-time singing in Guarani. Artists such as Monsieur Periné, Gaby Moreno, Aymée Nuviola, Pollo Brito, among others, have contributed to the album.

The term "Ayvu" carries profound significance as it originates from an ancestral greeting, conveying the promise of sharing one's word, the pure essence of the soul. Tierra Adentro believes that our external expressions reflect the depth of our inner selves.

In a historical context, Guarani holds the distinction of being the first indigenous American language to attain official language status. However, statistical data reveals an unfortunate reality: in Latin America, one out of every five indigenous communities has already lost their native language. Each time a language disappears, the world loses a precious repository of traditional wisdom. Therefore, Tierra Adentro emphasizes the importance of preserving Latin American roots.

Having received a nomination for Best Folk Album at the 2020 Latin Grammy Awards, Tierra Adentro is preparing to embark on a tour of the United States and Europe. The tour will culminate in a highly anticipated concert in Paraguay on August 13th.

The album "Ayvu" is a collaborative project developed by Hit Music 21 and IDS Music, a record label that represents talented emerging national artists. IDS Music also manages the song catalogs of other notable bands like Flou, Los Lilas, Tribu Sónica, Nhandei Zha, Garage 21, Antenna, among others.
