Karol G’s Con Cora Foundation Honored with Iberoamerican Impact Award

Karol G, global artist and founder of the Con Cora Foundation, was recently honored with the Iberoamerican Impact Award. This recognition celebrates the foundation’s dedication to women’s empowerment and the significant strides it has made in creating a more equitable and sustainable future for women and girls in Ibero-America.

Aligning with Educational Transformation

The Con Cora Foundation’s initiatives align seamlessly with the central theme of the Iberoamerican Impact Summit 2024: “Educational Transformation: Innovation and Sustainability for the Future.” The foundation focuses primarily on gender equality, making a lasting impact through various educational programs. Among its most prominent projects are the Becas Con Cora (Con Cora Scholarships), training cycles in STEM fields, and efforts to rebuild educational institutions.

Accepting the Award

The award was received on behalf of Karol G by Valentina Bueno, Executive Director of the Con Cora Foundation. During the ceremony, Bueno stated, "At Con Cora, we will continue to work tirelessly for the rights of women and girls because we firmly believe that a world in which they can thrive is a better world for everyone."

Con Cora's Dual Approach

The foundation operates on two main lines of action. The first focuses on promoting equity (justice), equality (opportunities), and empowerment (capabilities) for the women involved in its programs and projects. The second line addresses a more spiritual level, aiming for a profound transformation in the lives it touches.

Supporting Women in Various Fields

Beyond its core programs, Con Cora supports projects that uplift Latin culture, promote STEM education for girls, and encourage women's participation in sports. Notably, it has sponsored Tata Calderón in the F2 racing series, further reflecting its ongoing commitment to a more egalitarian future.
