Amazing Journey To Stardom

Their success has been heartening to many who have watched them grow together over the past few months. As their fan base expands and they become even more influential in the entertainment industry, Mario and Lalo show no signs of slowing down. However, the rise to success was not easy.

Mario and Lalo began their journey as two unknowns with little money and big dreams. They began creating videos together, starting small with no followers or recognition. But through hard work, dedication, and a passion for entertainment, they were able to slowly build a following and gain traction online.

“I started on social media while I was studying. I was in college, and I was also working. I was studying music and wanted to make music, but I did not know how to take advantage of it. However, I understood that in these times, social media helps you a lot, so I started using TikTok because I began to notice that people exploited their talents, and I thought of using it to boost my numbers and make trends. Mario began to follow me, talked to me on Instagram, and we started talking through social media," Lalo shares.

"Before studying computer systems, I worked in a hotel in the systems area for a long time. From there, I started to create videos through school, and I started to grow in social media. I met Lalo on TikTok. We started talking through social media before we met in person. Luckily, he was a neighbor to my best friend in Tijuana, Mexico. The rest is history," Mario adds.

The success of Aguilar and Zapien on social media is a testament to their dedication to building relationships and empowering those in the Latin LGBTQ+ community. They have leveraged their influence to create content that celebrates diversity, encourages self-expression, and promotes understanding. As they continue to grow and work together, Mario and Lalo will inspire many more people in the coming years.

The Power Couple 

Mario and Lalo have been together as a couple for over a year and are now engaged. What started as an online friendship between the two has become an inspiring example for everyone. Their relationship is an inspiring example of unconditional love, strength, and resilience that continues to be a beacon of hope to the Latin LGBTQ+ community. Mario and Lalo are committed to continuing their work advocating for the Latin LGBTQ+ community and inspiring others to do the same. 

"We have been a couple for over a year and have been living together since November of last year. We have just a little time living together, but our favorite moments are being able to create a home, work together, and do things together. This leads us to continue working on what we both like. In this case, Lalo likes music, and I also create music and like comedy," Mario shares.

In their home, they have been able to create a safe space for themselves and the members of their community. They have also continued to use their platform to push for even more inclusion of Latin LGBTQ+ voices on social media.

With a need to balance work and home life, as well as their relationship, Mario and Lalo understand that it can be complicated to make everything work. But they continue to make it work and strive to be the best version of themselves to inspire their followers.

"Balancing personal and work life is very complicated when you start being someone's partner and working together. It is complicated but not impossible. It is always about talking about it, always having clear points that work and home are different things. Work is work, and at home, it's personal. Although it is difficult, it can be achieved," Lalo Zapien says.

The Perfect Proposal

After years of dedication, commitment, and striving together, Lalo decided to surprise Mario with an unforgettable proposal. On a Disney cruise, surrounded by a beautiful view, Lalo decided to take the big step and ask Mario to marry him. 

Mario recalls the moment fondly: "Genuinely, I gave Eduardo a promise ring a long time ago when we first moved in together. I gave it to him in the house where there was no furniture, and he had nothing, and promised him that I would always be with him through thick and thin and through the worst. Time went by, and we decided to go on a cruise. Without knowing it, Eduardo, in the cabin of the Disney cruise, put a camera to record and asked me to marry him. He knew that it was very important to me since I am a big fan of Disney, it was a dream for me to go on a Disney cruise, and it was very special that he asked me to marry him and have it recorded. We are very happy that it happened.

Mario and Lalo are showing the world that love is never wrong and can come in all forms—all you need is an open heart and an open mind. They have gone through so much together and will continue to thrive in the coming years. As their career continues to grow, Mario and Lalo are sure to be a light of inspiration for many people in the Latin LGBTQ+ community. We can't wait to see what else this amazing couple has planned for the future!
