Natanael Cano, one of the biggest names in corridos music, has just dropped a brand new single called "Morritas." Cano's Morritas recently covered on Apple Music's NEW MUSIC DAILY. Natanael tells a story about a man and a woman's love over the entrancing strum of a guitar and melancholy melodies in "Morritas." Cano's dynamic vocalization is on full display in his passionate verses, which fuse the raw corridos sound with the idea that morritas (women) are made for love and a man leans more into having flow.
Toroh Films' "Morritas" is a music video with a split screen, showing the lives of the song's male and female protagonists as they experience the same night from different perspectives. The female protagonist is upset all night long as she wonders where her partner is, while Cano has fun with a number of different women. The video, which shows the couple from both of their points of view on that fateful night, is the perfect visual accompaniment to "Morritas," which explores the two different ways in which love can be experienced and expressed.
There have been more than 10 million listens to the song on YouTube since it was first released. Cano, a multi-platinum recording artist, collaborated on a brand new corrido belico tumbado titled "Y Si Me Miran" with label mates Gabito Ballesteros and Luis R Conriquez last month.
