Univision has announced the nominees for the 21st edition of Premios Juventud, with music stars Carín León, Maluma, and Peso Pluma leading the pack with seven nominations each. The event, themed "Atrévete a Más," will heat up the summer in Puerto Rico, broadcasting live from the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot on Thursday, July 25. Hosting the evening will be the dynamic trio of content creator and social media sensation Lele Pons, Clarissa Molina from El Gordo y La Flaca, and reggaeton icon Wisin. The excitement kicks off at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT.

Top Nominees

In addition to the top nominees, Colombian stars Karol G and Shakira each have six nominations. Becky G and Grupo Frontera follow with five nominations each. Other notable artists, including Bad Bunny, Bizarrap, Farruko, Feid, Fuerza Regida, Manuel Turizo, and Ozuna, each have four nominations. Fans have until Monday, July 8, at midnight PST to cast their votes for their favorite artists.

New Categories Highlight Creators

Premios Juventud will introduce new categories this year to spotlight creators making significant impacts on social media and culture. These categories include:

  • Creator of the Year: Recognizing influential cultural influencers.
  • Creator that Inspires Me: Celebrating inspirational content creators.
  • Creator with a Social Cause: Honoring creators who address societal issues.
  • Best LOL: Highlighting creators who bring joy and laughter.

Spanish language content creators were selected based on their reach, audience engagement, and impact in the U.S. The nominations were made by a panel of TV personalities and experts in the creator space, including Migbelis Castellanos, Jessica Rodríguez, Angélica Torres, Catherine Gallego, Hector Benavides, and Oriana González.

Celebrating Youth and Change Makers

Premios Juventud continues to celebrate the achievements and passions of young people. The show will honor "Agents of Change," recognizing young entrepreneurs and stars who contribute to making the world a better place. This tradition underscores the award show's commitment to acknowledging the diverse interests and contributions of the youth.
