CAMMIE, BRAZIL'S DYNAMIC POP/SOUL VOCALIST, TO RELEASE NEW SINGLE "BABY I LOVE YOU" ON MARCH 10

On March 10, Rio de Janeiro native Cammie just released her debut single, "Baby I Love You," which was recorded in Portuguese and English. The song, produced and co-written by Guilherme França, is a refreshing and emotive take on romance, featuring refreshingly honest lyrics and a gently pulsating groove that showcases Cammie's robust vocal delivery. The song will also be accompanied by a vibrant music video, directed by Marco Miagostovich and produced and edited by Cammie's sister, Laura O’Donnell.

Cammie is the second artist to be released by upstart Los Angeles-based imprint Super Pop, whose label partner, Andy Freedman, states that Cammie is a perfect fit for his new record company. Although only 22 years old, Cammie is already a veteran actress and singer who has been performing since the age of nine. She has appeared in musicals, as a voice actress for films like Toy Story and Orphan, and on television shows like Home: The Adventures of Tip and Oh (Aventuras de Tip e Oh).

Cammie is a blessing who has been sent to our fledgling label,” says Freedman, who saw Cammie perform in 2016 on The Voice Brasil where she made it to the semi-finals. “Her soul, style, sensational songwriting, and artistry are everything we want the label to represent.”

Super Pop partner, Michael Binikos, echoes Freedman’s comments, and adds that "Cammie has the fire, passion and talent to be a star."

In addition to her acting career, Cammie has released several singles, including last year's EP "Doce Como Bala", which featured contributions from R&B singer Anchietx and samba vocalist Ferrugem and garnered over 1.5 million streams. Cammie's music draws inspiration from the soul and funk movement of the 1970s and 1980s in Brazil, which was pioneered by artists like Tim Maia and Sandra de Sá.

Super Pop plans to promote "Baby I Love You" through social media and in-store playlists at brick-and-mortar outlets in the United States. With her engaging, close-to-the-heart music, Cammie is sure to win over a global audience and continue Brazil's rich tradition of producing top-tier musical talent.
