ALEJO, known as “El Favorito de las Nenas,” continues to make waves in the Latin music industry with his latest release, “DXVida,” a romantic reggaetón collaboration with rising Spanish urban star, SAIKO. This is the second time the two artists have collaborated, the first being on the “Humedad Remix” with Lola Indigo.
The single’s release coincides with the premiere of its music video, shot on location at the Colegio San Viator in Madrid, Spain. Co-directed by Ricardo Loaiza and Dario Mosqueira, the video perfectly captures the essence of the song, transporting the audience back to high school days surrounded by friends, driving aimlessly in the car, and having fun. The surprise at the end of the video is sure to delight fans, as Alejo gives a preview of his next single and reveals the name of his upcoming album, “EFDLN,” with the message “coming soon.”
Alejo has been strengthening his musical career with a unique sound and style, collaborating with numerous important artists in the urban genre, including Karol G, Feid, Wisin, CNCO, Jay Wheeler, and Nio García. In 2022, he received his first nomination for Premios Juventud 2022 in the category, "The New Generation-Male," and appeared for the first time at the awards show to perform the worldwide hit "Pantysito" alongside Feid and Robi. He was included in Tidal®'s "Best of '22 So Far" roundup and named as an artist to discover in Billboard® Magazine's On the Radar Latin. Apple Music also included him in their predictions for Latin Artists in 2023.
Saiko, the rising star from Spain, has become one of the leaders of the new wave of urban music. The talented singer-songwriter and producer is known for his versatility and unique sound, releasing hits like “Confía”, “Humedad”, and “Guaraná”. He has collaborated with great artists such as JC Reyes, Quevedo, Lola Indigo, and Alejo. Saiko is currently on his “Polaris Tour” in Spain.
“DXVida” is released by independent record label JUNGL and distributed by ONErpm. Alejo is currently promoting the single and finalizing details on his highly anticipated new album, “EFDLN.”
