Reggaetonlandia, started by 2DEEP, is one of the hottest Latin parties because of its one-of-a-kind atmosphere and lineup. For 2DEEP, the release of this video is a watershed moment in his ascent to the position of top-tier producer for the next generation. "Guaracha En Reggaetonlandia" is a one-of-a-kind original beat that demonstrates 2DEEP's mastery of fusing Latin music with electronic dance music via a reinvention of the guaracha rhythm. After signing with Steve Aoki's Dim Mak En Fuego label, their first official release was "Guaracha En Reggaetonlandia." As a result of working with Dim Mak En Fuego, 2DEEP will reach new heights with his exceptional musical talent.

Born Luis Cardenas in the Bronx, New York, 2DEEP is a DJ and producer of Ecuadorian and Colombian descent. 2DEEP, a transplant to Los Angeles, has been promoting a unique electronic Latin sound, resulting in fresh and compelling hybrids of musical traditions. For his 16th birthday, he asked his sister to enroll him in DJ school after becoming fascinated by the DJ battles depicted in the film Juice. It wasn't until two years later that he got into music production.

In 2011, he started putting on Latin events in Los Angeles under the moniker MUEVELO, with headliners like Diplo and Dillon Francis. Through these gatherings, he launched a micro-label on the internet, releasing curated playlists to promote the music he was releasing on Diplo's MAD DECENT label. After entering and winning Dim Mak's 2013 DJ competition with a demo reel, he was given the opportunity to perform as an opening act at Georgia's TomorrowWorld festival. At MAD DECENT, where he interned in 2013, he and Diplo worked together on a number of remixes. In the years that followed, he kept making music, playing as a DJ, and hosting LA-based parties with a Latin flavor to promote his work. Back in 2017, he launched a LA institution known as GASOLINA. A catalyst for the revival of Latin music in Los Angeles, his parties regularly featured performances by international DJs. In addition, 2DEEP's music has been featured at numerous festivals and radio stations around the world thanks to the likes of Major Lazer, Diplo, Carnage, Dillon Francis, Skrillex, Flosstradamus, GTA, and many more. His 2018 collaboration with Rickstarr, "NOTA," was widely covered in the media.

In 2019, a mutual friend reintroduced him to Steve Aoki and the rest of the Dim Mak crew as they were cultivating their new Latin label, Dim Mak En Fuego. In 2021, he performed alongside other major Latin artists at Baja Beach Fest's two weekends. Later that year, he left GASOLINA to found REGGAETONLANDIA, which has since hosted numerous successful events on the West Coast. 2DEEP is the first Latin DJ/Producer to sign with Steve Aoki's Dim Mak En Fuego, and he's already hard at work on his debut EP, set for release sometime in 2019.

IN REGARDS TO DIM MAK EN FUEGO

The new center of the international Latin underground is Dim Mak En Fuego (DMEF). Founded in July of 2020, the label shines a light on the genre-defying sounds that are lighting up dancefloors around the world and provides a platform for the boundless voices that are creating their own hybrid sounds. The label serves as a proving ground for forward-thinking musicians by fusing music, imagery, fashion, and internet culture in order to unearth and nurture the original works of art and musicians who will come to define the sounds of the future. In 1996, DJ and producer Steve Aoki founded the independent record label Dim Mak, which has since evolved into Dim Mak En Fuego. Bloc Party, The Kills, The Chainsmokers, The Bloody Beetroots, Deorro, Keys N Krates, MSTRKRFT, and countless others got their starts because the label was and is at the center of the emerging youth culture that shaped definitive movements across punk, indie, and dance music.
